Unaccountable Results of Submissions to Tax Refund Offset

TO ALL STATE IV-D DIRECTORS

Dear Colleague:

Enclosed please find the unaccountable results of your State's submittal to the Federal Tax Refund Offset Program for the 1993 processing year. These cases were sent to IRS for addresses and have come back as "unaccountable". For those States who OCSE issues the pre-offset notice for, these cases will be deleted before going to IRS for final certification. For those States who issue their own notices, please review these cases and delete any cases for which you did not issue a pre-offset notice.

Also, for those States issuing their own notices, enclosed you will find those cases for which IRS was able to provide an address. These may be helpful in updating your current files.
