TO ALL STATE IV-D DIRECTORS

Dear Colleague:

In May 1991, the Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) published and distributed an updated version of the "Directory of Genetic Testing Laboratories" to all States.

Plans are underway to publish a revised edition of this Directory and we are requesting your assistance in this effort. We have enclosed the pages of the current directory for your State that you may want to review and update. Please provide current information in the same format as the enclosure. In addition, please provide a contact person with his/her address and phone number at the State and/or county level. We are seeking information on laboratories operating in or doing business with your State, including laboratories that may provide service to and/or contract with only one or more counties. Please indicate whether the laboratory has a statewide contract or whether the contract is with individual counties and list the counties.
