SESA crossmatches
FEB 9, 1993 DC-9308
TO STATE IV-D DIRECTORS
Dear Colleague:
This is to notify you that the Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) is continuing the State Employment Security Agency (SESA) crossmatches and have negotiated with each SESA to expand the present crossmatches from quarterly to monthly and process between 200,000 - 400,000 cases per match.
Due to past limitations, the Federal Parent Locator Service (FPLS) has had to return unprocessed cases to the State child support enforcement (CSE) agencies. We believe that by expanding these crossmatches from quarterly to monthly, we will be able to process all requests received from the CSE agencies.
Enclosed is a proposed 1993 schedule for submitting cases to the FPLS for the SESA crossmatches. Currently, we have a case backlog and we will process those cases first. However, beginning with the April crossmatch, we hope to be able to process all requests received from the CSE agencies.
Cases can be submitted to the FPLS either on-line or on tape. At this time, there is no limit to the number of cases that on-line users can submit. Tape users should contact the FPLS to discuss the number of cases they can submit for each crossmatch. However, please do not resubmit cases more than once per quarter.
If you have any questions, please contact Wanda Campbell on (202) 401-5752.
Sincerely,
Robert C. Harris
Acting Deputy Director
Office of Child Support
