RE: Collection Report for Federal Tax Refund Offset Program

Dear Colleague:

We are pleased to forward to you the third collection report for the 1993 Federal Tax Refund Offset Program. Enclosed is the collection report representing the tax refund offsets for the month of April 1993 minus the service fee and any adjustments made during this period for the 1984 through 1993 processing years. The net collection total for April for 217,056 offsets is $141,452,569. The electronic funds transfer should be effected on May 7, 1993. Enclosed, where appropriate is a copy of the April 1993 Collection/Adjustment/Address Report and the corresponding name change report.

The year-to-date total for processing year 1993 is $390,697,448 as compared to $376,041,462 for processing year 1992. The year-to-date total through April 1993 is 4% higher than the total for the same time period last year.
