RE: Fourth Collection Report For The 1993 Federal Tax Refund Offset Program.

Dear Colleague:

We are pleased to forward to you the fourth collection report for the 1993 Federal Tax Refund Offset Program. Enclosed is the collection report representing the tax refund offsets for the month of May 1993 minus the service fee and any adjustments made during this period for the 1988 through 1993 processing years. The net collection total for May for 271,148 offsets is $159,463,239. The electronic funds transfer should be effected on June 7, 1993. Enclosed where appropriate is a copy of the May 1993 Collection/Adjustment/Address Report and the corresponding name change report.

The year-to-date total for processing year 1993 is $551,720,065 as compared to $555,001,618 for processing year 1992. The year- to-date total through May 1993 is less than one per cent different than the total for the same time period last year.
