SESA crossmatches

DC95-06

January 20, 1995

TO ALL STATE IV-D DIRECTORS

Dear Colleague:

Federal Parent Locator Service (FPLS) is pleased to inform you
that we are continuing the SESA crossmatches and plan to conduct
one match per month. For each crossmatch, we will submit 250,000
cases to 48 SESA(s).

Enclosed is the 1995 schedule for submitting cases to the FPLS
for the SESA crossmatches. Cases can be submitted to the FPLS
via tape, cartridge, mitron, file transfer, mainframe to
mainframe and on-line. At this time there is no limit on the
number of cases users can submit to FPLS.

One of the key features for requesting cases to go to SESA is it
allows users to "direct" or "broadcast" cases. The "direct"
option allows the user to send a case to a specific SESA(s). The
"broadcast" option allows the user to send cases to all SESAs
participating in the crossmatch. Only two SESAs are not
participating in the SESA crossmatch they are Michigan and New
Hampshire.

If you have any questions, please call Joan O'Connor on
(202) 401-9268.

                              Sincerely,

                              David Gray Ross
                              Deputy Director
                              Office of Child Support
                                Enforcement
