States Report Information on In-Hospital Paternity
Establishment

Dear Colleague:

This letter is to remind you that the Office of Child
Support Enforcement has requested that States report
information on their in-hospital paternity establishment
program on a voluntary basis.  For FY 1994, 7 States
submitted reports. In FY 1995, 13 States submitted reports
for the first quarter and 10 States submitted reports for
the second quarter.  

We believe the information will be of great value to our
program and have plans to include it in the OCSE Annual
Report to Congress for Fiscal Year 1995.  We would like to
include statistics on your State's in-hospital paternity
program.  If you have not already done so, please send us
any information you are able to provide.  If your State has
been reporting in-hospital paternities and you have updated
data available, we would appreciate receiving a revised
report.

The enclosed tables summarizes the material we have
received to date.  We have also included a copy of the
reporting form for your information.  If you have any
questions concerning the tables or concerning reporting the
