Dear Colleague:

On February 24-26, 1998, OCSE will sponsor the second Financial Institution Work Group Meeting in Fairfax, Virginia. This meeting will focus on finalization of the data file specifications that you received as an enclosure to DC-97-93, dated December 16, 1997, and finalization of the Action Transmittal conveying questions and answers related to financial institution data match policy. As time permits, we will also discuss further the issues of centralization and fees.

The Work Group Meeting will be at the Fair Oaks Holiday Inn, 11787 Lee-Jackson Highway, Fairfax, Virginia, the site of the last meeting. Shuttle service to the hotel is available from both the Dulles Airport ($5) and the Vienna Metro Station (free). Rooms are available for $126.00 single and $172.00 double occupancy, per night. Attendees should call 1-703-352-2525 to reserve a room, and mention the Financial Institution Work Group Meeting in order to obtain the reduced rate. Please make your hotel reservations by February 11 to receive the special meeting rate. Further information regarding the agenda will be sent to you as part of the package containing the "final" draft Action Transmittal.

The meeting will start on Tuesday, February 24th at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude Thursday, February 26th no later than 1:00 p.m. Our intent is to make this a pleasant work environment--casual dress is preferred.
