Re: Status of Federal/State Welfare Reform Work Group-March 1998

Dear Colleague:

I am pleased to send you this report updating activities of our work groups through March 1998.

As you will see from the milestones and results reported for each group, much has been accomplished through our federal/state partnership during the past few months. The membership listed in the groups was based on information obtained in early March. Changes may have occurred since then which will be shown in our next update. Future updates will list accomplishments, plans and will reflect changes as new work groups are formed and others deleted as they complete their charter.

Thank you for a very productive year as we look forward to another year with accomplishments.
