DCL-00-51 MAY 8, 2000
TO: ALL STATE IV-D DIRECTORS
RE: Online Interstate Roster and Referral Guide
Dear Colleague:
The online Interstate Roster and Referral Guide (IRG) located on the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement’s (OCSE’s) web-site has been operational since December, 1999. The initial phase of the IRG has been very successful. We have received positive feedback from State users and are anxious to begin the phase 2 development of the IRG.
In order to assist us with the phase 2 development, we are requesting that each State/Territory establish an IRG Technical Point of Contact (IRG TPOC.). The IRG master file of FIPS codes and addresses is used by the Child Support Enforcement Network (CSENet) 2000 to validate and route all interstate transactions. Additionally, a download of this master file is provided to States through CSENet 2000 on a semi-monthly basis. Therefore, the IRG TPOC should be familiar with each component of the IRG, CSENet 2000, State FIPS codes and your Child Support Enforcement State Systems.
Please provide your IRG TPOC information (i.e., name, title, phone, address, e-mail) to Ella Lawson at (202) 401-4963, or via e-mail at elawson@acf.hhs.gov by May 25, 2000.
OCSE thanks all the State IRG Contacts and the IRG Workgroup members who provided valuable information, time, and effort to this important project.
Sincerely,
David Gray Ross
