DCL-00-53 MAY 9, 2000
TO: ALL STATE IV-D DIRECTORS
RE: OCSE's 10th National Child Support Enforcement Training Conference
Dear Colleague:
As you may know, the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement's (OCSE) 10th National Child Support Enforcement Training Conference will be held September 25-27, 2000 at the Baltimore Hilton and Towers in Baltimore, MD, where we will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Child Support Enforcement Program.
The theme for this year's conference is "OCSE's Silver Celebration: 25 Years of Giving Hope and Support to America's Children." The conference is designed for all State and Federal IV-D professionals. As the tentative agenda indicates, the conference will offer a wide array of workshops in many subjects important to the child support enforcement professional. Dress is business casual throughout the conference.
This year's conference registration fee is $125. This fee is eligible for Federal Financial Participation (FFP) at the regular matching rate. Enclosed are a tentative agenda, registration form, and hotel information. Information on the Baltimore Hilton and Towers can also be found at the Hilton website: www.hilton.com. Click on Find a Hotel or Resort for a map and directions to the hotel. We have been informed by the hotel that this September is unusually busy throughout the city of Baltimore. Because of this, the cutoff date for hotel registrations is August 25, 2000. Unless, you make your hotel reservation by that date, there is no guarantee that you will secure a room at the government rate. If rooms are still available after August 25, they will be at a higher rate. We strongly urge you to make your plans to attend the conference, and call the hotel immediately for your reservation. Please inform your staff about this opportunity as soon as possible and encourage them to attend. If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact:
(Contact Information Deleted 2/15/2007 - No Longer Current)
We look forward to your participation.
Sincerely,
/s/
