RE: Financial Institution Data Match for Child Support Enforcement Agencies Training Course

Dear Colleague:

The Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) has developed a training course on the history and implementation of Financial Institution Data Match (FIDM). The course, designed for child support enforcement workers, covers both the In-state FIDM Process and the Multistate FIDM Process. In addition to the five modules listed below, useful training information is included in the "FIDM Trainer's Guide Preface." The modules are:

Module 1 - Overview
Module 2 - Federal Matching with Multistate Financial Institutions
Module 3 - State Operations, Matching with In-state Financial Institutions
Module 4 - Lien and Levy Processing
Module 5 - Technical Support

The Trainer's Guide for this course includes a set of trainer notes, handouts, and slides for each module. It will be available in electronic format in the near future. We will place it on OCSE's National Electronic Child Support Resource System at http://ocse.acf.hhs.gov/necsrspub/.
