TO: ALL STATE IV-D DIRECTORS
RE: Child Support Enforcement Network (CSENet 2000) Fees For Fiscal Year (FY) 2002
Dear Colleague:
This letter is to notify you of the user fees assessed for State access and usage of the Child
Support Enforcement Network (CSENet 2000). Please note that there has been no change to the flat access portion of these fees.
The quarterly fee is calculated for each State based on a flat fee plus a variable amount based on each State’s IV-D caseload average for the current six-year period. Please keep in mind that the CSENet fee is an administrative expense for which you are eligible to receive federal reimbursement at a rate of 66%.
You will continue to receive your CSENet fee on a consolidated bill. Each State is to report their CSENet fee charge-back on line 12 of Form OCSE-396A. Unpaid fees will automatically be deducted from your grant award for the quarter.
Thank you for your partnership and collaboration in efforts to secure financial support for our nation’s children. Such efforts will help ensure that the children of America will receive the support they need and deserve. If you have any questions, please contact Tony Hardy at (202) 401-9231.
Sincerely,
Frank Fuentes
Acting Commissioner
Office of Child Support Enforcement
