RE:  Open Comment Period - Revised Notice of Lien and Administrative Subpoena Forms

Dear Colleague:

The Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement published two notices in the Federal Register on February 13, 2004 (69 FR 7232 and 7233) requesting comments on revised Notice of Lien and Administrative Subpoena forms and related annual burden estimates.  The notices, which are attached, explain how to obtain the revised forms and send in comments.

The revisions we are proposing are based on comments received since the last publication of these forms in 2001.  If you wish to comment on the proposed revisions to these forms and instructions or on the related burden estimate, please follow the instructions in the attached notices and reference the OMB number for the form you are addressing:

OMB No. 0970-0153 -- Notice of Lien

OMB No. 0970-0152 -- Administrative Subpoena

Consideration will be given to comments submitted within 60 days of the Federal Register notices (by April 13, 2004).
