Dear Colleague:

The Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) is preparing to implement the Federal Parent Locator Services (FPLS) Release 07-01. This release includes enhancements to the Child Support Enforcement Network (CSENet), the Federal Case Registry (FCR), the Federal Offset System and the Query Interstate Cases for Kids (QUICK) System. These enhancements are in keeping with ongoing efforts to promote automated use of FPLS data, streamline locate response data, and improve data quality. Similar to previous releases, the Release 07-01 changes are deemed minor because implementation can be delayed until State planning and resources can accommodate the changes. With the exception of the FCR, we will implement FPLS Release 07-01 on June 1, 2007. The FCR enhancements are scheduled for July 13, 2007. Enclosed is a summary of Release 07-01 enhancements.
