RE: Federal Offset Program Fees

Dear Colleague:

The Department of Treasury's Financial Management Service (FMS) has provided the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) with the offset fees for Fiscal Year (FY) 2012.

OCSE is happy to announce that all offset fees will remain at last year's amounts. For FY 2012, the fee for federal tax refund offsets processed will continue at $14.65 per offset. The fee for administrative offsets will remain at $16.00 per offset.

The good news continues for states that have OCSE issue their Pre-Offset Notices. The fee for this service will continue at $0.54 per notice for FY 2012. This fee covers the cost of postage and envelopes, as well as printing, stuffing and mailing of the notices.
