INFORMATION MEMORANDUM IM-05-10 DATE: August 15, 2005 TO: STATE AGENCIES ADMINISTERING CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT PLANS UNDER TITLE IV-D OF THE SOCIAL SECURITY ACT AND OTHER INTERESTED INDIVIDUALS SUBJECT: Employer Services Website Announcement for State and Local Child Support Professionals BACKGROUND: The Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) has dedicated a part of its website to informing employers about the Child Support Enforcement Program. The Employer Services section of the OCSE website recognizes the important partnership between employers and state Child Support Enforcement agencies. The website includes information, helpful tips, calculation examples, state-by-state requirements, publications, frequently-asked-questions (FAQs) and linked resources to help employers meet their responsibilities in child support enforcement.
The website now has three sections: The State Agencies Working with Employers section is dedicated to state and local child support professionals who work with the employer community. The section includes helpful tips, facts and linked resources to help state agencies work effectively with private sector and Federal agency employers. The site provides useful information and resources in the following areas:
