RE: Processing Year (PY) 2002 Federal Offset Collections Schedule

Dear Coordinators:

In accordance with DC 00-126 dated January 3, 2001, Federal Offset collections will continue to be reported and distributed to states’ accounts every two weeks in 2002.

Enclosed is the PY2002 Federal Offset Collections Schedule, effective with the first collection file scheduled to be transmitted on January 25, 2002 and funds deposited on January 31, 2002. The Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) Process Date is the actual date OCSE intends to process the collection file. However, the "File to State" and "Transfer of Funds" dates are Financial Management Service’s (FMS) and Program Support Center’s (PSC) estimates. We will continue to advise states of actual reporting and deposit dates via Technical Content Correspondence and E-Flash.

If you have any questions about PSC’s transfer of collections to your state’s account, please contact Elvis Davis at (301) 443-9560 or Cathy Lynn at (301) 443-3309.

If you have any questions about the collections schedule, please contact the Special Collections Unit at (202) 401-9389, ext. 6, or via email at scollections@acf.hhs.gov.

Sincerely,

Donna J. Bonar
