RE: Federal Offset Collections Report for OCSE Cycle 2003-02

Dear Coordinators:

Enclosed is the Federal Offset Collections Report for OCSE Cycle 2003-02. This report represents Federal Tax Refund and/or administrative offsets, less the current fees of $11.65 per Federal Tax Offset and $13.20 per administrative offset, and any adjustments/reversals made during this period for the 1996 through 2003 processing years.

The net collections total for OCSE Cycle 2003-02, as of February 17, 2003, based on 92,872 offsets is $128,951,434. The year-to-date total for 106,372 offsets is $146,123,670. This compares to 103,129 offsets for $135,365,333 during the same collection period last year.

An electronic version of this report, along with additional detailed reports for your state, has been sent to your state via CONNECT:Direct (C:D).

The funds were transferred through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) on February 27, 2003.
