RE: Federal Offset Collections Report for OCSE Cycle 2003-05

Dear Coordinators:

Enclosed is the Federal Offset Collections Report for OCSE Cycle 2003-05. This report represents Federal Tax Refund and/or administrative offsets, less the current fees of $11.65 per Federal Tax Offset and $13.20 per administrative offset, and any adjustments/reversals made during this period for the 1996 through 2003 processing years.

Based on 117,495 offsets, the net collections total for OCSE Cycle 2003-05, as of March 31, 2003, is $125,701,884. The year-to-date total for 531,083 offsets is $658,511,313. This compares to 500,506 offsets for $612,776,809 during the same collection period last year.

An electronic version of this report, along with additional detailed reports for your state, has been sent to your state via CONNECT:Direct (C:D).

The funds were transferred through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) on April 10, 2003.
