Changes to federal and state agencies over the past several years have created a dramatically different environment in which child support, TANF, and workforce investment agencies operate. The passage of laws such as the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act (PRWORA) and the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) produced an environment in which agencies and the clients they serve both benefit from increased inter-agency collaboration focused on improving economic prospects for families and helping them achieve self-sufficiency.
This seminar is designed to help regional and office managers from all three agencies identify these benefits, explore the potential for collaborative efforts, and lay the groundwork for lasting inter-agency partnerships. |
