Data Matching (NDNH)

OCSE facilitates many federal anInterconnected silver ballsd state agencies’ efforts to prevent erroneous payments and fraud in government benefit programs.  We provide matching services of authorized users’ data with that of the National Directory of New Hires (NDNH).  The NDNH is a national database of wage and employment information containing the following information:

  • New Hire
  • Quarterly Wage (QW)
  • Unemployment Insurance (UI)

We receive and respond to numerous requests for NDNH information for authorized comparisons or research purposes.  Title IV, Part D, of the Social Security Act, which governs the NDNH, specifies the entities authorized to request NDNH information and the purposes for which the information may be requested.  Statutory authority is required to request and receive NDNH information.  OCSE may not disclose NDNH information to any entity without appropriate statutory authority.

OCSE has standardized processes and resources to help our current and prospective matching partners.
