Chirp - Report on Native Alaskans and domestic violence

Chances are that over 50% of Native Alaskan females and 29% of Native Alaskan males will experience physical or sexual violence before reaching adulthood.  A new report, Healthy Native Families: Preventing Violence At Any Age, brings together data on Native Alaskans’ experiences with domestic and sexual violence.  It was funded by the Office of Minority Health and produced by the Alaska Native Epidemiology Center.
