Employers Now Required to Report Rehired Employees

A recent change to the new hire reporting requirements redefined a "newly hired employee" as an employee who has not previously been employed by the employer; or was previously employed by the employer, but has been separated for at least 60 consecutive days. 

This change requires employers to report new hires and re-hires.
