This webinar will present the background, operations, and preliminary results of the three year old Co-Parent Court in Hennepin County, Minnesota. (Minneapolis and suburbs). Co-Parent Court builds onto the existing paternity establishment process a series of services designed to support the parents in developing a constructive, long-lasting co-parenting partnership. The co-parent court philosophy is that children will be better served if the paternity/child support establishment process is expanded to include the full range of emotional and parenting support children need from both parents, rather than just financial support.
