SUBJECT:  Updated - A Caseworker’s Guide to Processing Cases with Finland

ATTACHMENT:  A Caseworker’s Guide to Processing Cases with Finland - 2014

The federal Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) develops Caseworker’s Guides intended to assist with implementation of federal-level international child support agreements.  OCSE issued an earlier version of A Caseworker’s Guide to Processing Cases with Finland on May 2, 2008 (IM-08-04).  With this Information Memorandum, OCSE provides an updated and expanded version of the Guide.   

The attached Caseworker’s Guide to Processing Cases with Finland contains the following information:

            Part A – International Agreement between the U.S. and Finland
            Part B – Outgoing Support Cases from the U.S. to Finland
            Part C – Incoming Support Cases from Finland to the U.S.
            Part D – Policy for Finland
            Part E – Bilingual International Forms for Finland
