Re: Charge-backs for Printing and Processing Pre-Offset Notices

Dear Colleague:

Enclosed please find the Action Transmittal pertaining to charge-backs for the Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) for the printing and processing of OCSE issued pre-offset notices for the Federal Tax Refund Offset Program.

States will now have the option to have these fees subtracted from their title IV-D grant award rather that making payment by check, although the payment by check method is still available. All States are strongly encouraged to use the payment method of offsetting the State's grant award.
