Attached is the Federal Offset Collections Report for OCSE Cycle 2010-53. This report represents federal tax refund and/or administrative offsets, less the current fees of $14.65 per federal tax offset and $16.00 per administrative offset, and any adjustments/reversals made during this collection cycle for the 2003 through 2010 processing years.
Based on 3,058 offsets, the net collections total for OCSE Cycle 2010-53 as of January 6, 2011 is $3,986,233. The 2010 year-end total for 1,600,272 offsets is $2,108,823,275. This compares to 2,067,432 offsets for $2,191,021,733 through the same collection week last year. Please note that net collection totals excluding offsets from economic recovery payments (ERP) are $2,102,169,584 year-to-date compared to $2,079,331,803 through the same collection week last year for an increase of $22,837,781 or 1.1%. To date, there have been 479,341 ERP offsets totaling $118,343,621 including 26,827 ERP intercepts for $6,653,691 in 2010.

Also attached is the Federal Administrative Offset Report, which details collections broken down by administrative offset type, including offsets received from US Department of Agriculture and US Postal Service (non federal/non salary) payments.
