RE: Financial Institution Data Match for Child Support Enforcement Agencies Training Course

Dear Colleague:

The Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) has developed a training course on the history and implementation of Financial Institution Data Match (FIDM). The course, designed for child support enforcement workers, covers both the In-state FIDM Process and the Multistate FIDM Process. In addition to the five modules listed below, useful training information is included in the "FIDM Trainer's Guide Preface." The modules are:

  • Module 1 - Overview
  • Module 2 - Federal Matching with Multistate Financial Institutions
  • Module 3 - State Operations, Matching with In-state Financial Institutions
  • Module 4 - Lien and Levy Processing
  • Module 5 - Technical Support

The Trainer's Guide for this course includes a set of trainer notes, handouts, and slides for each module.

Sincerely,

Frank Fuentes
Acting Commissioner
Office of Child Support Enforcement
