The Insurance Match (IM) Workgroup is comprised of representatives from the insurance industry, State Child Support Enforcement (CSE) Agencies and the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE). The minutes summarize decisions and discussions from the meeting held on May 16, 2006 including:

  • Review and finalize the minutes from the May 2, 2006 Workgroup Conference Call
  • Change the meeting day from Tuesday to Thursday
  • Discuss the structure of the Workgroup conference calls as well as industry standards and protocol for gathering requirements
  • Discuss the stages in the lifecycle of the match
  • Discuss the potential data elements, arrears threshold for submittal, address scrubbing, date of birth and frequency of state updates to OCSE related to states submitting obligors to OCSE
  • Discuss the SSN verification, Family Violence indicator, multiple SSNs for one obligor related to OCSE receiving data from states
  • Discuss the frequency of matching with insurers (or their agents), potential data elements, automation and frequency of matches to states related to OCSE coordinating with insurers or their agents to receive match information
  • Address state questions/comments
