BACKGROUND: Section 454(9)(E) of the Social Security Act requires the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) to promulgate administrative subpoena and notice of lien forms for use in interstate child support enforcement cases. OCSE developed the forms which were effective October 28, 1997. The last revised forms were published in 2004 and DCL-07-22, dated August 3, 2007, provided information as to how the CSE community could provide comments to the Office of Management and Budget regarding the forms. Because OCSE received very few comments, OMB reauthorized the forms without changes until February 28, 2011.
Please continue to honor forms with the January 31, 2008 expiration date. We will place the forms with the February 28, 2011 date on our web site in the near future.
