TO: ALL STATE AND TRIBAL IV-D DIRECTORS

RE: National Council of Child Support Directors’ Annual Meeting

Dear Colleague:

I am writing to encourage you to attend the National Council of Child Support Directors' Annual Meeting from June 10-13, 2012 in Little Rock, Arkansas. The theme for this year’s meeting is “Opportunities and New Direction for Child Support.”

I hope you will join us as we discuss the national strategic plan, upcoming grant opportunities, and potential program flexibility and efficiency procedures. The most successful child support practices are the ones we developed as a team. Therefore, I encourage all state and tribal directors to attend so we can chart our new direction together.

Sheri Steisel from the National Council of State Legislators will talk about what is most important to state legislators regarding the child support program. You can also engage with corporate partners to learn about the new technology to help streamline case management, increase systems interoperability, and move toward predictive analytics.

Don’t miss this opportunity to share new initiatives and gather ideas to further advance the success of our national, state, and tribal programs. I look forward to discussing the future of child support with each of you.

If you have questions, please contact Mary Smith at mary.e.smith@ocse.arkansas.gov.

Sincerely,

Vicki Turetsky
Commissioner
Office of Child Support Enforcement
