DEAR COLLEAGUE LETTER

DCL-11-20

DATE: Nov 18, 2011

TO: ALL STATE AND TRIBAL IV-D DIRECTORS

RE: National Directory of New Hires Guide for Data Submission Version 12

Dear Colleague:

This letter announces the posting of the National Directory of New Hires (NDNH) Guide for Data Submission, Version 12 on the federal Office of Child Support Enforcement website. This version contains updated information for submitting data to the NDNH.

Version 12 replaces the previous version of the guide, which was published on December 22, 2010. A revision history is included in the guide listing the substantive changes, and the sections in the guide where each change occurred. Also, minor changes to style and format were made to improve the readability of the guide.

If you have any comments or questions regarding the information in this guide, or if you would like to order a copy, call the Federal Parent Locator Service (FPLS) Information Line at 202-401-9267.

The cooperation of the State Directories of New Hires, State Workforce Agencies, State Child Support Enforcement Agencies, and other state and federal agencies that are involved in the submittal of NDNH data is greatly appreciated as we strive towards our goal of improving the lives of our nation’s children.

Sincerely,

Vicki Turetsky
Commissioner
Office of Child Support Enforcement
