Answer

FYSB awards grants to hundreds of organizations that operate runaway and homeless youth programs across the country. You can find a grantee in your state by visiting FYSB’s Grantee Map, selecting your state and then clicking on the “Runaway and Homeless Youth” link.

Additionally, FYSB supports a federally designated national communication system for runaway and homeless youth that connects callers to local resources. Young people who are homeless or thinking about running away can call the National Runaway Safeline at 1-800-RUNAWAY (786-2929). Family members and other adults are also encouraged to call.
