Upcoming Webinar: Applying Evidence-based Practice to Runaway and Homeless Youth Services
The Family and Youth Services Bureau encourages Runaway and Homeless Youth grantees to attend the upcoming webinar, Applying Evidence-based Practice to Runaway and Homeless Youth Services, on Friday, July 13, 2012, at 2pm EDT.
This webinar offers an introduction to key features of evidence-based practice and how it applies to day-to-day youth work. It will also address some of the opportunities and challenges to integrating evidence-based practices into runaway and homeless youth programs.
Presenter Dr. Matthew Morton is an Advisor to the Commissioner of the Administration on Children, Youth and Families at the US Department of Health and Human Services. He was formerly a researcher at the Centre for Evidence-Based Intervention at the University of Oxford and an advocate and organizer in multiple areas of youth work in the US and abroad.
