FYSB’s National Health Resource Center on Domestic Violence Launches a New Online Toolkit
Screening and counseling services for domestic and interpersonal violence are among the preventive health benefits that are now covered by new insurance programs under the Affordable Care Act. FYSB’s National Health Resource Center on Domestic Violence health team has launched an Online Toolkit for healthcare providers and domestic violence advocates. This toolkit aims to help health care providers and advocates learn more about how to help women be healthy and safe.
Among our new educational tools and strategies are:
- Free patient resources
- Free tools for providers
- Tools to help health systems and clinics prepare their practice
- Materials for domestic violence advocates
- Setting-specific practice recommendations and tools: Including technical assistance from National Health Resource Center on Domestic violence staff
To visit or share the Toolkit, please see the Health Cares About IPV website.
The National Health Resource Center on Domestic Violence is supported by the Administration for Children and Families, Family and Youth Services Bureau, Family Violence Prevention and Services Program.
