April 12, 2012Por medio del Personal Responsibility Education Program Innovative Strategies (Estrategias Innovadoras del Programa de Educación sobre la Responsabilidad Personal, PREIS, por sus siglas en inglés), la FYSB apoya proyectos de investigación y demonstración que implementan estrategias innovadoras para prevenir el embarazo entre jóvenes sin hogar de 10 a 19 años de edad, que están en acogida temporal, que viven en áreas con altos índices de natalidad en los adolescentes, que provienen de grupos raciales o étnicos minoritarios o que tienen el VIH/SIDA.
Personal Responsibility Education Program Innovative Strategies Fact Sheet
April 6, 2012Through the Personal Responsibility Education Program Innovative Strategies (PREIS), FYSB supports research and demonstration projects that implement innovative strategies for preventing pregnancy among youth ages 10-19 who are homeless, in foster care, live in areas with high teen birth rates, come from racial or ethnic minority groups, or have HIV/AIDS. Projects can also target pregnant women and mothers who are under 21 years old and their partners. PREIS is administered by FYSB in collaboration with the Office of Adolescent Health’s Teen Pregnancy Prevention Research and Demonstration Program.
