The funding opportunity announcements (FOAs) are now available for American Indian/Alaska Native Early Head Start Expansion and Early Head Start – Child Care Partnerships and for Early Head Start Expansion and Migrant and Seasonal Early Head Start – Child Care Partnerships.
The FOAs support the creation of Early Head Start – Child Care (EHS-CC) Partnerships and Early Head Start expansion efforts. These new competitive grant opportunities will expand access to high-quality, comprehensive services for low-income infants and toddlers and their families.
Funding will be available within each State based on the number of young children in poverty. No less than $14,316,000 will be available for American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) Head Start programs, and $21,474,000 will be available for Migrant and Seasonal Head Start (MSHS) programs.
