ACF-800 Child Care Annual Aggregate Report and Instructions
March 7, 2013PURPOSE: To inform States and Territories that the Office of Management and Budget has renewed approval of the ACF-800 Report without any revisions. The form and instructions are attached.
BACKGROUND: Annual aggregate child care program information for the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) is required by Section 658K of the CCDBG Act, as amended. The annual aggregate administrative information received through this collection provides the means to analyze and evaluate the CCDF program and the extent to which States are assisting families in addressing child care needs. This collection will provide the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) with the information necessary to make its biennial report to Congress, address national child care needs, offer technical assistance to grantees, meet performance measures, and conduct research.

September 18, 2012This Technical Bulletin lists the data standards for the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Annual ACF-800 Report. The Report, which is submitted by States and Territories to the Office of Child Care (OCC), includes key State-level data required by the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act, as amended. Along with the instructions to the ACF-800 Report, the data standards described here serve as the principal guidance to be used in developing the report and identifying possible errors in the data.

ACF-800 Submission Site
September 14, 2012The FY 2000 ACF-800 data collection, which was due December 31, 2000, is based on the revised, OMB-approved ACF-800 form. The internet submission site properly accommodates submission of FY 2000 data and following fiscal years of data and is also still valid for revising ACF-800 data for 1999 and prior years.
