AFI Resource Center Monthly Topical Conference Calls

The AFI Resource Center is pleased to produce monthly training and technical assistance conference calls for grantees, their partner organizations, and other interested groups. The calls highlight effective practices by current AFI grantees, including presentations on topics such as recruiting project participants, developing strong partnerships, fundraising, and strategies for addressing AFI program procedures and operational issues. From time to time, the calls also feature presentations by other experts who share the latest information on important topics such as strategies for providing effective credit counseling; techniques for working with local governments, foundations and other funders; and interpreting credit scores.

The calls typically feature one or two brief presentations, followed by an open question and answer period. The AFI Resource Center prepares resource documents to accompany each call.
