Grant Awards

Each year approximately 10 grants are awarded with the maximum grant award being $500,000. A minimum of twenty-percent of the total JOLI funds received must be used towards the provision of direct financial assistance to participants. Financial assistance may be provided through the use of revolving loan fund or the provision of direct cash assistance to a micro-enterprise/self-employment business owner. There is no funding match requirement; however, the Office of Community Services requires documentation of all non-JOLI funding necessary for the successful completion of the funded project.
