      Between FY 2001-2006, CED created or expanded approximately 2,774 businesses – creating over 11,000 jobs – with CED funds.

    • LIHEAP Heating Assistance

      LIHEAP Quick Fact - 2009/2011

      In FY 2011, the LIHEAP program provided $4.7 billion to 50 states, the District of Columbia, 150 tribes and five territories to assist low-income households with their home energy bills. Heating assistance was provided to 6.7 million eligible households in the U.S. through the federal dollars provided by LIHEAP in FY 2009.

    • More than 81,000 Enrolled in IDAs

      Through the AFI program more than 81,000 individuals have enrolled in IDAs. 60,108 accounts have been opened, depositing a total of $56,653,295 in earned income.

    • 22 Million Receive Services Funded by SSBG

      In 2009, more than 22 million individuals received services funded in whole or in part by the SSBG program.
