Model CSBG Tribal Plans
June 29, 2012Outline of Model CSBG Tribal Plan:
- Grantees must complete an application for CSBG funds.
- The application requires an annual or biannual plan for the expenditure of these funds.
- The following assurances must be adhered to in the formulation of the CSBG plan.
- All applications are reviewed against these assurances. (Failure to provide an assurance can delay or even deny funding. These assurances are embodied in the CSBG legislation and are therefore mandataed by the Congress).

August 3, 2012Summary of the Planned Use of Funds by States and Eligible Entities
In FY 2006, States planned to use CSBG funds to provide resources for direct services or assistance to individuals and families participating in eligible entities’ programs. In most instances, the largest categories of CSBG expenditures were emergency services and linkages programs. Uses of CSBG funds are reflected in the data tables contained in this report (Tables 1-3).
