The Federal government issues the poverty levels as the HHS Poverty Guidelines and state median income as State Median Income Estimates.

Please note that funds were not appropriated for the Compassion Capital and Strengthening Communities Fund Programs. Therefore, the Administration for Children and Families will not hold additional competition or award new grants for this program.

The following funding applications are for use by State, Tribal, and Insular Area LIHEAP grantees. Electronic forms are either in a word processing, PDF or spreadsheet format.

Application Due Dates

We are accepting applications for funding new AFI projects now! All applications must be submitted electronically through Grants.gov as paper applications are no longer being accepted.

Applicants may submit materials at any time throughout the year. OCS will review and fund new grants in two cycles in calendar year 2013. The application receipt dates are as follows.
