Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) - Based on Information Memorandum (IM) #116

The Office of Community Services will conduct a recorded conference calls to provide background regarding risk call focused on corrective action, termination or reduction of funding for eligible entities in the CSBG program.  The purpose of this call will be to review the 10 key steps identified in IM-116 to assure that statutory requirements are met for monitoring, corrective actions, technical assistance and quality improvement processes for eligible entities with identified performance deficiencies.

The conference call has an accompanying slide presentation that should be viewed in conjunction with the telephone recording.  The slide presentation will be distributed via e-mail to all CSBG lead agencies and will be posted on the CSBG webpage.

Additional reference documents available on the CSBG website are Information Memorandum (116) which is referenced extensively in this presentation, and the CSBG Act, which is the basis for key program requirements.  Both documents are available on the CSBG website.
