Greetings LIHEAP Program Directors:

The Office of Community Services (OCS), Division of Energy Assistance (DEA), is hosting a teleconference/webinar specifically designed for Tribal and Territory LIHEAP grantees.  This call will also include a presentation over the Internet that will cover three major topic areas:

common issues and questions in completing the LIHEAP plan; review of administrative cost calculations for the LIHEAP plan; and
review of carryover cost calculations.

The call/webinar will also feature a presentation from staff within the Division of State Assistance’s (DSA) Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) program.  In 2011, a collaborative effort was implemented to strengthen Tribal grantees’ administration of the CSBG and to help provide comprehensive information delivery on program requirements, administration issues, and increase communications to eligible Tribal entities.  A short introduction will be provided about the CSBG Tribal Government Training and Technical Assistance initiative currently underway for CSBG Tribal grantees.
