Schedule for Detailed LIHEAP Plans

The following is a list of States and Territories that filed detailed LIHEAP applications for FY 2013 and those scheduled to file detailed applications for FY 2014 and FY 2015.  Grantees that filed a detailed application for FY 2013 are not required to do so for FY 2014 unless their programs have changed substantially.  Each grantee must file a detailed or abbreviated application each year.

A grantee is required to file a detailed application only in the year listed below unless its program has undergone major changes, in which case a detailed application should be filed.   Grantees that are making more than two substantive changes should complete the detailed application.  Grantees making significant changes to their programs may wish to consult with the Division of Energy Assistance in advance about whether the abbreviated application is appropriate.  Tribes and Territories that were not grantees in the year immediately prior to the year for which application is being made must file a detailed application.  Filing an abbreviated application in the intervening years is optional; a grantee that wishes to do so may file a detailed application in any year.  In some cases, Tribes and States are not on the same

3-year cycle if a Tribe applied with a Detailed Plan during a year in which the State submitted an Abbreviated Plan.
