Percent of Children in Early Head Start Research Sample Subgroups Receiving Part C Services (by Parent Report)

This column graph shows, of four subgroups, the percentage of children in the Early Head Start research sample who received Part C services (by parent report). In the first subgroup, 1 percent of children of teen parents and 7 percent of children of older parents reported receiving Part C services. In the second subgroup, 2 percent of children of Hispanic parents, 4 percent of children of African American parents, and 8 percent of children of White parents reported receiving Part C services. In the third subgroup, 3 percent of children of parents with less than a high school education, 6 percent of children of parents with a high school degree or GED, and 8 percent of children of parents with more than a high school education reported receiving Part C services. In the fourth subgroup, 2 percent of children with four to five demographic risks, 3 percent of children with three demographic risks, and 8 percent of children with one to two demographic risks reported receiving Part C services.(back)
