Head Start's 11th National Research Conference

Head Start's National Research Conference: Research on Young Children and Families

Head Start's 11th National Research Conference was held June 18-20, 2012 at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C.

Please check back in June of 2013 for information about Head Start’s next research conference.

Since 1991, Head Start’s Biennial National Research Conference has provided professional recognition for the research field examining the needs of low income families with young children and the evidence-base for effective program services. The conference supports the dialogue between researchers, policymakers and program and administrative staff. This active dialogue strengthens education for young children, brings the latest information to those establishing the national policies for low-income families, and contributes to the development of a meaningful research agenda in the early care and education field.
