Overview
In September 2005, the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) Office of Planning, Research and Evaluation (OPRE) selected six universities to develop curriculum for Head Start and Early Head Start. The grantees receive three years of support to develop curriculum addressing parent-child relationships, children’s social emotional and cognitive development, and parental depression intervention. The selected grantees were: Michigan State University, Orelena Hawks Puckett Institute, University of Colorado, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Child Development Institute, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Nursing, University of Colorado and Utah State University.
